Based in Los Angeles, I am a director of photography with over 25 years’ experience.

Born and raised in Barcelona, I am a member of the AEC (Spanish Society of Cinematographers). Among my works for Hollywood, I have shot features with legendary performers Mickey Rourke, Kris Kristofferson, Bruce Dern, Denise Richards, Dolph Lundgren, and Jason Patric.

As a Cinematographer, I feel most at home with narratives, commercials, and music videos. Working across the US, Latin America, and Europe.

The play of light and shade on objects have been my obsession since childhood. I am a pioneer in new film technologies, have taught master classes, trained TV and cinema professionals in seminars, I am a regular consultant for high-end film equipment manufacturers, and a post-production and color correction master.

My taste is defined by emotions and texture, which I fill later with colors and contrasts. This sounds a little abstract but I seek to tell from where we least expect it: darkness can actually illuminate, moments of silence in dialogue are often the most telling, it is the space between beats that actually makes us dance.
